BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - As you can imagine republicans and democrats have very different views about the Vice Presidential debate last night, with reaction split right down party lines.

Volunteers at Obama campaign headquarters in the University District, gathered to watch the debate were pleased with vice president Biden, after what many call a passive performance by President Obama last week.

Republicans, also happy with their VP candidate. They give congressman Paul Ryan big marks for his first national debate.

Even though some local political analysts were critical of vice president Biden's body language, many are giving him high marks for his performance last night.

But there was no clear winner according to many viewer polls with watchers split on who won.
