Explosion at Suspected Meth Lab Leads to Four Arrests

ANDOVER, NY (WKBW) New York State Police investigating an explosion and fire at a mobile home in Allegany County discovered ingredients used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

The explosion was reported Saturday night on County Road 22 near East Chestnut Street in Andover. The Andover Fire Department put out the fire and assisted police in the investigation.

Four people were arrested:

-Steven M Weiss, 22

-Elizabeth K. Martin, 21

-Angie M. Matison, 34

-Unnamed Suspect, 26

The fourth suspect is being treated for first and second degree burns at Jones Memorial Hospital. Police have not identified the suspect.

All are charged with Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Criminal Possession of Precursors of Methamphetamine, and Criminal Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Material.
