Erie County Legislature to Hold Public Hearing on Fracking

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Erie County Legislators will face fracking protestors Tuesday afternoon.

The Legislature is holding a public hearing on a proposal banning fracking in Erie County.

The hearing will take place at 4 p.m. in County Legislature Chambers on the Fourth Floor of Old County Hall at 92 Franklin Street in Downtown Buffalo.

Residents are planning to submit a petition with nearly 4,000 signatures.

A final vote is expected on December 12th.
