ELMA, N.Y. (WKBW) - An Alexander woman was arrested Saturday for stealing her client's credit card.

Police arrested 29-year-old Amanda Dryden and charged her with Grand Larceny.

Police say last Tuesday, an Elma resident noticed her credit card was missing from her purse. The resident contacted the credit card company to find out her card has been used for purchases totaling over $1,000.

It was discovered via surveillance video from where the credit card was used that Dryden had made the purchases

Dryden admitted to stealing the credit card while cleaning the victim’s house and using it at six different establishments.

She was arrested and released on an appearance ticket. She will return to the Town of Elma Court on a later date to answer the charges.
