(Erie County, NY) While most of the attention on election night was focused on the Erie County Executive race, there were four other important contests which ended with upset victories.

Supervisors in Grand Island, Clarence, Lancaster, and West Seneca were defeated by challengers.

"It is very unusual. Its unusual to see incumbent supervisors in most towns lose re-election," says Eyewitness news Political Analyst, Bob Davis.

"People wanted a change. I heard that repeatedly," says Grand Island Supervisor-Elect, Mary Cooke.

With 100% of the districts reporting, the latest results reported by the Erie County Board of Election are as follows:

Grand Island Supervisor

Peter McMahon - D 2,814 47%
Mary Cooke - R 3,193 53%
