Eden, N.Y. (WKBW-TV) The Eden Central School District is making changes to it's fraternization policy, after a former high school assistant wrestling coach was charged and now faces jail time for raping two students.

27-year-old Justin Ferrara pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree rape in Erie County Court, Tuesday. Though the crimes happened after he was no longer an employee of the district, school officials say while he worked as a coach, he sought out girls in the hallways, exchanged phone numbers and according to police, committed the rapes at his former residence. School officials are now mandating that all staff sign and read the fraternization policy before being permitted to work.

The superintendent also tells Eyewitness News that the district plans to start talking to students during orientation and may even have the Eden Police Department come in and discuss potential inappropriate behavior between staff and students.

After Ferrara left his job with the Eden School District in 2012, St. Francis High School confirms he worked there last year as an assistant wrestling coach but did pass a background check before being hired.
