BUFFALO (WKBW) This past weekend in Buffalo has been a celebration of winter and all the good things that comes with it. And with no shortage of fun activities, Eyewitness News Reporter Jason Gruenauer decided to give them a try, and see how he fared with all that Buffalo had to offer.

The trip started at the Buffalo Convention Center, where all the newest makes and models of cars were on display at the Buffalo Auto Show.

Show Director Trey Barrett said this year, the Auto Show is expecting to improve on last year's turnout. "People are walking around with a smile on their face. They're excited about the colors, they're excited about the Chevy Volt, they're excited about the Camaro convertible," he said.

The next stop was the Erie Basin Marina, for the final day of the Labatt Pond Hockey Tournament.

Brett Carlsen is a brand manager for Labatt Blue. "I think the overriding thing today and this weekend has been the ability of the players to have a good time. All in all, it's been a great tournament this year," he said Sunday.

The last stop was at the Powder Keg Winterfest, where there were no shortage of activities. People could sled down the skyway, pet a camel, or go bowling with a frozen turkey.

This is the first year that Drew Cerza is the event organizer. So far, he said, he's happy with the result. "People are smiling. And when people are smiling in the wintertime, when its 15 degrees and wind, you know they're having a good time," Cerza said.
