BUFFALO, N.Y. ( WKBW ) Western New Yorkers will celebrate Dyngus Day, a Polish tradition marking the end of the Lenten season the day after Easter.

This experience is something Martin Biniaz , co-founder of Dyngus Day Buffalo, says is unique to Buffalo.

Biniasz, with Ed Dobosiewicz, have planned parties and parades in the Polonia District of the east side of the city. Biniasz joined Patrick Taney and Ginger Geoffery on "Eyewitness News This Morning" to update us on activities planned for Monday April 9, 2012.
