Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW release) -- U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced Wednesday that a federal grand jury in Buffalo returned a nine-count Indictment charging Roger S. “Scotti” Luczkowiak, 31, of Dunkirk with production of child pornography, distribution, receipt, and possession of child pornography.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron J. Mango, who is handling the case, stated that according to the Indictment, the Dunkirk Police seized a computer from the Luczkowiak's residence on June 1, 2011. A forensic analysis of the computer allegedly found multiple images and videos of child pornography, including two videos that appeared to be produced by the defendant at his home with a six-year-old victim. Some of the images allegedly included the victim and the Luczkowiak.
Luczkowiak has been in custody since his arrest in August 2011. He will be arraigned on the Indictment on December 29, 2011 at 9:30 a.m., before Magistrate Judge Jeremiah J. McCarthy.
Production of child pornography carries a mandatory minimum term of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 30 years, a $250,000 fine, or both.
