A man is in stable condition after being ejected from his car in an accident on Robert Moses Parkway in the City of Niagara Falls around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday.
Brian Smead was traveling west when he failed to maintain his lane, leaving the roadway on the northbound side of the road, causing his car to hit the guard rail.
Smead over-corrected his steering and caused the vehicle to strike the curb and snow bank because of unsafe speeds. The car became airborne and rolled over.
Smead was ejected from the car because he was not wearing his seatbelt. He was found 36 feet from the vehicle.
He was transported to ECMC where he is listed in stable condition with a broken hip, abrasions, and numerous lacerations.
Charges are still pending.
