ELMA, NY (WKBW) Deputies in Erie County arrested a Tonawanda man Saturday afternoon in a construction area on Route 400 in Elma.
A driver called 9-1-1 at 3:30 p.m. yesterday to report she'd been a victim of a road rage incident. Deputies tracked down and pulled over their suspect, 45-year-old Derrick Fix shortly after.
Fix is accused of pointing what appeared to be a pistol at the victim's vehicle. The victm's 2-year-old and 11-month-old children were in the back seat at the time. The victim also told deputies that Fix had thrown pennies at her car, causing windshield and paint damage.
Fix is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Mischief, and Reckless Driving.
He was arraigned in Elma Town Court and taken to the Erie County Holding Center on $5,000 bail.
