BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Before Supreme Court Thursday morning, 34-year-old Cara Dickey plead guilty, as charged, to failure to register and/or verify as a sex offender.

In 2009, Dickey was convicted of Rape and served 4 years in prison after an inappropriate relationship with a 14 year old student at the former Buffalo Charter school where she taught.

While on parole for the conviction, Dickey fled her halfway house on Bailey Avenue in Buffalo and was located by U.S. Marshall's over a month later in Chicago. She was found after being issued a prostitution ticket on February 13th, where she was working under a different name.

Dickey was required by law to register a change of address within 10 days, but failed to do so.

She faces a maximum prison term of 4 years when she is sentenced on June 6th.
