AMHERST, NY (WKBW) - A popular boys high school basketball coach will not get his job back, despite being cleared of any wrongdoing and a massive show of support from students and parents.

Al Monaco coached at Williamsville South High School for 24 years, but was dismissed from the post.

And on Tuesday night, school board members said there would be no change in that decision.

"We ask you to keep in mind that you do not have all of the information available to the Superintendent and the Board of Education concerning personnel matters," said board president Carrie Kahn.
