Demand for Buffalo Games Increasing

BUFFALO, N.Y (WKBW) IN 1986, Buffalo Games started with just three employees and the idea of marketing high-quality puzzles and some board games.

"The only thing that sold, and kept us going, was a puzzle called the 'World's Most Difficult Jigsaw Puzzle.' That kept us going through the lean first three or four years," said Mark Predko, Director of Sales & Marketing for Buffalo Games.

Since that time, Buffalo Games has grown to become a leading player in the toy industry.

Eighty employees now work at the company's 85,000 square foot facility on James E Casey Drive in Buffalo.

Each year, the company sells millions of puzzles and hundreds of thousands of board games, and their products can be found in major retail stores located across the US and Canada.

Demand for their products is so high, that the company recently invested $1.5 million dollars for new equipment to increase capacity.

As for the future, Mark Predko said the company was looking at expanding its offerings.

"We don't have a line of just kid's puzzles, or kid's games, and those are things we might get into in future years."
