BUFFALO, NY - A controversial comment in Monday's gubernatorial debate is raising some questions for area residents. They are concerned over the plan he made about transmitting power from Western New York and Canada to downstate.
A representative from the Cuomo camp spoke to Eyewitness News today. They said he mis-spoke during the debate and has no plans in making any changes to what is currently going on in Western New York.
The Cuomo camp released this statement: "Andrew Cuomo believes we need a permanent Power for Jobs program and generating additional renewable wind power upstate."
