BUFFALO, N.Y. ( WKBW ) The manslaughter trial of Dr. James Corasanti continued Tuesday as witnesses were questioned today about whether sound proofing in the car Corasanti was driving may have prevented him from knowing he had hit anyone.
Cross examination of Amherst Police investigator Kevin Murphy continued Tuesday on what he found related to the case.
Previous testimony was given by Mark Rowland, who was driving in the opposite direction just before the fatal accident. Tuesday, using pictures of Heim Road, defense attorney Tom Burton pointed out that the headlights on Rowland's car were shining directly into the face of Dr. Corasanti as he approached Alexandria Rice.
Cross examination continued with questions about items police found in Dr. Corasanti's trash.
Channel 7's Ed Reilly is at the courthouse, and will have more on what happened in court tonight on Eyewitness News at 5 & 6.
