Buffalo Public Schools is sponsoring a free "Baby and Me Expo" on Wednesday for pregnant or parenting teens.
The idea is to give students access to the resources they need all under one roof.
The flyer for the event uses phrases like "free give-aways", "fun activities", and "free food". Some say the event is glorifying teen pregnancy.
A local 22-year-old, with 4 kids, wants others to know being a teen mom is anything but glamorous.
"Having a child at a young age is terrible," said Samantha Morris. "I missed out on everything young people do like prom and vacationing."
EPIC, Every Person Influences Children, is putting on the pregnancy expo Wednesday. A representative from Buffalo Public Schools says it is sponsoring the event because the community has asked the district to show leadership and support to young mothers.
