CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, N.Y. (WKBW) - Over 400 workers at two food production plants in Chautauqua County are left scrambling after finding out their plants are closing.

ConAgra Foods announced Wednesday they will be closing their Dunkirk and Fredonia plants, leaving those more than 400 workers without jobs.

Union representatives we spoke to say the plant workers, many of whom have worked there for decades, now face a tough and uncertain future in the area.

Eyewitness News reached out to ConAgra. Officials we spoke to had no comment about the closures.
