NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. – Lindy Ruff, the longest-tenured coach in the National Hockey League, received an aerobatic aircraft flight with the John Klatt Airshow Team at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station on Friday, September 9 at 10:00 am.

Coach Ruff will be rode along with John Klatt, one of the featured performers at this weekend’s Thunder of Niagara Airshow.

The flight was in an EA-300L aircraft sponsored by the Air National Guard.

Coach Ruff coaches the NHL Buffalo Sabres in one of the most noted sports towns in the country as Western New York is a hockey hot bed with a multitude of teams and leagues for men and women as well as youth. Due to his successes on the national and international stage, in this hockey town, Coach Ruff is a prominent figure in the community.
