City of Tonawanda, NY (WKBW) Three City of Tonawanda Board of Education members say they are being harassed and their homes and vehicles are being vandalized.
The first incident allegedly happened on May 17th when board member, Jackie Smilinich, discovered that her car had been spit on while it was parked in the high school parking lot. Both Smilinich and board member Diane Misner also allege that someone has been deflating the tires of their cars after board meetings. Those incidents have allegedly occurred in the high school parking lot and at each individuals homes.
On December 3rd someone entered a garage at the Smilinich residence and heavily damaged an ATV. The ATV's oil line had been severed and the letters F and U were carved into the vehicle's leather seat. A third board member, Robert Star II, says he has received several anonymous phone calls, threatening him and his elderly father. The incidents are under investigation by the City of Tonawanda police.
