Cheektowaga, NY

For little ones Christmas is all about the wonder and excitement of Santa Claus and the gifts he brings on his sleigh. But for many families keeping the magic alive this Christmas was a challenge until they came to New Creation Fellowship Church in Cheektowaga.

Kim Stencel and her son Ethan were handed Christmas presents from the mountain of toys underneath the tree and along the walls of the sanctuary along with about 100 other families.

The presents were donated by the Marine Corps and members of the church who have been busy wrapping gifts for the past week. They hope everyone recognizes what they believe is the deeper meaning of the holiday season.

"Christmas is more than just a celebration it's something that happens in the heart of a person when they make Jesus the Lord of their life," said Stephen Andzel, pastor of New Creation Fellowship.

The church will have another giveaway on Christmas Eve and you can still register your child for gifts by calling New Creation Fellowship Church at 716-631-8595.
