Jamestown Church Burglary Suspect Arraigned

(WKBW release) The suspect Jamestown police believe was responsible for the two separate church burglaries was arraigned Thursday morning in Chauatuqua County Court for the burglaries that occurred on March 4 in Jamestown.

John A. Bish, 45, was indicted by a Chauatauqua County Grand Jury on two counts of Burglary in the 3rd degree, one count of Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree and one count of Petit Larceny for his alleged involvement in the Burglaries at the Greek Orthodox Church at 15 Francis St and the Bethel Lutheran Church on W. 3rd Street in the city of Jamestown.

Bish is currently being held in the Chautauqua County Jail in Lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 Property bond.

Investigators were able to identify Bish after receiving multiple calls and tips from citizens and other law enforcement officials from Erie County who had recognized Bish in the media that was released after the incidents had been reported.
