BUFFALO, NY (WKBW/Release) - Wyatt "Chicago" Hayes, 34 years old, is expected to be brought back to Buffalo from the state of Tennessee, early next week to face arraignment on a second degree murder charge.

Hayes was developed as a person of interest in the shooting death of 26-year-old Darryl McDavis of Buffalo at Stevens and East Ferry Streets.

Homicide Squad detectives had a issued a pick up order for the suspect on the day of the fatal shooting, July 18th. Initial indications were that he had fled the area, possibly to Chicago, but he was recently located in Cleveland, TN, when stopped by local police and lied about his identity.

Buffalo Homicide Squad Detectives Patricia Wrest and Christopher F.
Sterlace traveled to Tennessee, to interview the suspect, and obtained admissions from him.

Buffalo police are working with the District Attorney's office to
arrange for the return of the suspect to Buffalo, after he waived
extradition proceedings.
