CHEEKTOWAGA, NY ( WKBW ) In a quiet Cheektowaga neighborhood, home is much more than where Renee Cerullo lives. It is also where she works.
It is where the 34 year old runs her growing business, RL Computing, that provides internet technology, and web design services.
Renee said that "In the beginning, and the web was just coming out, everyone wanted a website, and I self taught myself how to do websites."
Renee started working at the University at Buffalo while she was still working on her bachelor's degree. She was helping several clients on the side, but as word got out, many more came on board. This prompted her to leave her full time job and become her own boss.
Renee says there are long hours, but flexibility in the schedule.
It is also more convenient for Renee, who has coped with Crohn's disease for the past 20 years. The disease that causes inflammation of the digestive tract can worsen under stress, but she says it has made her stronger.
Renee adds, 'No matter how bad I was feeling...I muddle my way through it...I'm the one in charge!"
