Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - A suspect is in police custody after a dramatic chase that began in Lackawanna and ended in the heart of downtown Buffalo.

Buffalo's business district was packed with police units late Wednesday afternoon.

Police were combing the crowds along Main and Court Streets looking for a possible drug suspect.

Sources tell Eyewitness News, Lackawanna Police tried pulling the man over in his white SUV near Ridge and Route 5 in Lackawanna.

That's when the suspect took off down the Skyway and right into the heart of the city.
