EVANS, NY (WKBW/Release) - August 23rd, at approximately 9:16 P.M. Evans police received a call of a head on collision between two vehicles on Southwestern Blvd, just west of Gowans Road.
The driver of one car 20-year-old Jalen J.Difrancesco, suffered a broken arm, dislocated hip, and injuries to the face.
Driver of the other car, 75-year-old Dario Vaccari, from Niagara on the Lake, Ontario was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger in his vehicle, 71-year-old Barbara Zimakas, also from Ontario, was taken to ECMC with no apparent injuries.
Towns of Evans police are still investigating the accident.
