BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) 35 year-old Candace Cartagena, recently convicted of murdering her eight-year old daughter Bianca, has pleaded guilty to additional charges.

Cartagena admitted in court on Tuesday that she filed her 2010 income tax return, fraudulently claiming three children as dependents including her daughter Bianca who was deceased as well as seven year-old and nine year-old boys that were not her children.

Cartagena is now facing a maximum of 4 years for Offering A False Instrument for Filing in the 1st Degree. This is in addition to her sentence of a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of life, in connection with her murder conviction--when she is sentenced on August 26, 2014 by Judge Franczyk.
