NIAGARA FALLS, NY (WKBW-TV) - As the sun set on Thanksgiving, the focus immediately shifted to Christmas.

Hundreds of people packed into the Fashion Outlets Niagara Falls USA to get a jump start on Christmas shopping and save some big dollars.

"Coach is like 80 percent off," said Ashley Gilson from Grand Island. All of the stores have just incredible deals 50 to 80, 70 percent off it's great."

Many of the shoppers made the trip over the border from Canada to cash in on some of the years biggest deals.

"If you come here often and compare prices you really know the difference and now the dollar is at par so it's great," said Yvonne Barys from Mississauga Ontario.

"Jeans, like for my son," replied Tonya Campbell from Guelph Ontario, "they're 30 dollars at home and I can buy them here for 10."

"The price point is cheaper," said Leslie Allen from Toronto, "and when we're getting our money close to par it makes it a better deal to come down here."

The Fashion Outlets will be open straight through Friday night at 9pm and many of the big Black Friday deals will be in effect the entire time.
