We've heard of glamour camping or glamping. Now Delaware North is cashing in on the "cabineering" trend. Officials say it's catching on at Yellowstone and other, major national parks. Cabineering provides home-like comforts and perks but in more remote destinations. Delaware North's Parks & Resorts division is developing a series of self-catering cabins near Yellowstone National Park. The cabins are complete with a fireplace, wi-fi, HDTV and more. It's a multi-million investment and the first new development since Delaware North acquired the Yellowstone Park Hotel six years ago. The 50-cabin complex, called "explorer cabins at Yellowstone," is set to open July 1.

Essex Homes of WNY is ready to roll out patio homes in Clarence. Essex is planning Essex Greens at Waterford on Roll Road in Clarence. The company plans to close on the deal this month and then start prepping the site. It will be the largest luxury patio and townhome complex in the company's 20 year history. It will feature 102 patio homes and 34 townhouses. Prices will start in the low 300's. Officials say interest in home construction is rebounding. You can read more in this week's Business First.
