CDC: Number of American Smokers Declines Slightly

A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report says smoking among American adults declined by about 1.6 percent from from 2005 to 2010, according to a story in the International Business Times.

According to study data, the percentage of smokers declined from 20.9 percent to 19.3 percent. But the rate of decline has not been consistent on a year-to-year basis, according to the report.
