Five of Western New York's private high schools charged more than $10,000 in basic annual tuition for the school year that is now drawing to a close.
Nichols School tops the list at $18,800 for basic annual tuition.
Business First's research director, Jerry Rott, compiled this list, which includes the basic annual tuition charged by each school during the 2012-2013 academic year, along with the gender of its students and its position in Business First's new academic rankings of 135 Western New York high schools (both public and private).
The tuition list is confined to schools that primarily draw students from the eight-county region. It does not include the Gow School, which is a boarding school.
