BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) A Grand Tours Bus crashed into the porch of a home on E. North Street in Buffalo Thursday afternoon, startling the three residents in the home.

Resident Harry Manuel told Eyewitness News he has lived at the home for 40 years, and has never experienced anything like this.

He said he heard a loud "boom" when he went outside to see the bus almost inside the living room of the first floor unit.

"Thank goodness nobody was hurt," Manuel said. He added that he and his two aunts were in the home at the time, and that one of his aunts was shaken by the experience.

He said that the bus driver was not hurt, and did not talk with anyone in the home after the bus crashed into the porch.

According to a spokesman from bus operator Grand Tours Bus Company, the driver had just unloaded the bus at the Masten Street Armory across the street from the home.

The driver had pulled around, and was in the back of the bus and not in control of the vehicle when it rolled into the porch.

While there were no injuries, the newly repaired porch was damaged.
