Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day might be a great time to visit the only outdoor ice skating rink in downtown Buffalo.  It's located at Fountain Plaza near the corner of Main and Chippewa and is free to the public.  Special holiday hours on Monday are 11am through 9pm.

Students from the Herman Badillo Bilingual Academy in Buffalo were on the ice Thursday afternoon and so happy to be outside instead of in school.  Even adults were glad to be on the ice instead of in their cubical at work.  To watch this story, just click the video and see how much fun you can have!

The outdoor rink is open through March 16th, 2014.  If you need to rent skates, it's $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for children.  Click here for all the information you need to visit the Rotary Rink.
