Three Buffalo hospitals were cited this week by U.S. News & World Report among the nation’s best hospitals.
Included in the recognition was Roswell Park Cancer Institute; as well as Kaleida Health sites Buffalo General Medical Center and Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.
Roswell Park was ranked No. 1 in the Buffalo metro area; and No. 13 statewide; and No. 47 nationally for cancer. It was also listed as a high-performing hospital for ear, nose and throat; nephrology, gynecology and urology.
Children’s was ranked No. 49 among the top 50 hospitals in the U.S. for pediatric neurology/neurosurgery among the hospitals participating in the ranking.
The hospital was one of 87 facilities that made the rankings in at least one of 10 specialties.
Buffalo General was ranked No. 38 in the state and No. 2 in the Buffalo metro area; and listed among high-performing hospitals for neurology/neurosurgery.
