17 Year old Brianna Wrobel is finally back at home after three weeks at Buffalo's Women and Children's Hospital. The South Buffalo high school senior discovered last summer that she had a brain tumor. Doctors wasted no time in removing the tumor but it took two operations and they still were not able to get it all. Brianna now has to have continuing therapy and radiation treatment, she also has lost the hearing in her left ear because of the growth. Despite her life coming to a sudden and screaching halt in July, she says, hey, it's only brain surgery! She's become an inspiration to her family and friends and says she can't thank the staff at Children's enough for all they did to help her get through a life-changing event.
