Buffalo police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred in the 600 block of Humboldt Parkway Thursday evening.
Investigators say the driver, 48-year-old Mary Pugh of Buffalo, was traveling north on Humboldt Pkwy when it appears she lost control of her vehicle, struck another vehicle before her vehicle came to rest near a utility pole.
Pugh was taken to ECMC when she later died.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
