Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW release) -- A pair of big shows are on tap for Buffalo Place Rocks the Harbor this weekend.

The Tragically Hip with special guests the Arkells will perform at a sold out Buffalo Place Rocks the Harbor concert, on Saturday, July 30th at the Erie Canal Harbor Central Wharf.

Canada's legendary rock quintet will perform at the first sold-out Buffalo Place Rocks the Harbor Concert. In addition to their 2011 Summer Tour, which will make stops in Canada and the US, The Tragically Hip are working on material for their 13th studio album.

Tickets are still available for Sunday, which features Flogging Molly with special guest Badfish.

Flogging Molly’s founder and Dublin native Dave King describes the group’s unique sound saying, “Well, if it didn't have mandolin, accordion, fiddle and whistle, I guess it would be punk rock and if it didn't have guitar, bass and drums, it would be traditional Irish music. We are influenced by traditional music and inspired by it, but without question we put our own twist on it.”

Tickets for Flogging Molly are available for $10.00 in advance and $20.00 on the day of each show. Tickets are
available at all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com. To charge by phone, call 1-800-745-3000.

Tickets are available at Buffalo Place Inc., weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Buffalo Place Inc. is headquartered at 671 Main Street in Downtown Buffalo. For more information, call 716/856-3150.

No coolers or alcoholic beverages will be allowed onto the concert grounds. Food, beer, wine, wine coolers and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
