Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - The situation in the Middle East is growing more and more intense.
North Buffalo native Jamie Schwed moved to Jerusalem in 2011, and lives there with her husband and baby.
She usually feels safe, except for times like these.
Schwed says sirens warning of incoming rockets from Gaza constantly go off in Israel. She hast just 90 seconds to seek shelter.
"You're always waiting for when the next one is going to happen -- it's no way to live."
Schwade says frustrations are growing. Earlier today, Israel accepted a cease-fire brokered by the Egyptian government.
As Hamas fired rockets continued to launch, Israel re-started its airstrike over Gaza, where the death toll continues to rise.
Channel 7's Rachel Elzufon will have more on the growing tensions on both sides on EWN at 5.
