Buffalo Man with H.I.V. Arrested

Buffalo police have arrested an individual in connection with an HIV case. Sex Offense Officers arrested 20 year old Darryl Fortner of Sherman Street in the city and charged him with: Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree. Detectives say that Fortner engaged in sexual intercourse with a female victim while he was HIV positive and did not tell her he was HIV positive. Fortner was arraigned this morning in Buffalo City Court and is currently being held on $15,000 bail in the Erie County Holding Center. His next scheduled court appearance is set for April 26th; a felony hearing in Part-6. Detectives believe it's possible there may be other victims in the Western New York area.
