BUFFALO, NY (WKBW)- A local non-profit is hitting the ground one wheel at a time to expand its operation in Western New York. Buffalo CarShare is hoping the public can help them, help others. Buffalo CarShare is about four years old and has more than 500 members. It now wants to increase its fleet to 30 and double its membership.
"Right now we have 15 vehicles in 12 different locations. So we're hoping to expand to other neighborhoods like the Fruit Belt, Lower West Side and North Buffalo where people would really need our services," said Buffalo CarShare Director of Member Services Xavier Guillaume.
