BUFFALO, N.Y. ( release ) The Buffalo Board of Education named a
permanent superintendent Wednesday night.
The Buffalo Board of Education voted 7 to 2 to elect Dr. Pamela Brown as permanent superintendent of the Buffalo Public Schools.
The meeting was opened with a motion by Rosalyn Taylor to elect Dr. Pamela Brown. No other name was raised for nomination, and a vote was taken. All board members voted in favor of Dr. Brown, with the exception of North District Board Member Jason McCarthy and President Louis Petrucci.
Dr. Brown is expected to begin her new post as early as July 1st.
