Buffalo fire investigators are calling four fires that happened in two days on the East Side arson. Now, resident like Skylin King said enough is enough.

"It's pathetic. They need to just tear down these abandoned houses and get it over with," King said.

King lives just off Broadway.

"I do fear for the safety around the neighborhood," King said.

Overnight on Wednesday, fire fighters responded to fires on Gittiere and Lathrop Streets. The next night, they were busy with a blaze on Miller Avenue. Then just minutes later, they raced a block away to Titus Avenue to put out another fire.

All the homes were abandon. No residents were hurt but fire fighters did suffer minor injuries.

Mark Marciniak has live on the East Side of Buffalo his entire life.

"This area was gorgeous. You could leave your screen door open,"

But now, he said it's not only the houses that have been abandoned but also the entire area including the residents like Norbert Bentkowski.

"You feel helpless but I really think they need to do more patrolling," Bentkowski said.

King said something must be done.

"Someone's got to help clean up the east side of buffalo. Make it livable and respectable," King said.
