BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Former Channel 7 personality Brian Kahle requested no funeral before he died. His daughter Christina and son Michael however agreed he touched so many lives they wanted to hold a memorial for friends and family.
Kahle graduated from SUNY Fredonia, moved to California to be an anchor, but shortly after returned to Western New York.
He became host of AM Buffalo and went through a few different co-hosts until our very own Linda Pellegrino joined his side.
Kahle also loved magic and spent many years performing. After he retired, he started his own PR firm called Magic Marketing, where he represented many local businesses.
During his time here at Channel 7, Kahle had many memorable moments, especially his interview with former Buffalo mayor Jimmy Griffin.
The memorial will take place Wednesday night from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Wilson Boathouse at 57 Harbor Street.
Kahle's ashes will be scattered this summer in a private ceremony at Chautauqua Lake.
