According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, a 10-year-old Texas boy changed his name earlier this month in order to honor his late father, a Fort Worth police officer who was killed in the line of duty in 2005.

Justin Nava changed his name to Henry Nava III during a court proceeding in mid-November, according to the Star-Telegram. His father, Henry Nava, who was a Fort Worth police officer, died in 2005 after being shot by an ex-convict who was wanted on a parole violation.
