The body of an elderly woman was discovered by a CSX Employee in the vicinity of Walden and Bailey Avenues in Buffalo early Wednesday morning.
Police say the woman's body was discovered around 9 a.m. near the foot of Wex Street about 20 yards from the railroad tracks.
Detectives say an autopsy will be conducted by medical examiners to determine a cause of death.
The name of the victim will not be released until the family is notified.
