Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Delaware County is likely to see the brunt of this storm but Broome County is readying, as well.
Broome County’s Emergency Operations Center has been partially activated and will serve as a point of contact for highway departments, law enforcement agencies, fire departments, the Health Department, Office of the Sheriff, state DOT, State Police, and other local officials in the event that conditions arise that require emergency response.
As it is in other places, trees falling on homes and power lines here is a concern.
County officials suggest registering for the New York Alert system for updates on the storm. To do so, you can visiting www.nyalert.gov or by calling 888-697-6972.
