BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW / wsj.com ) Are The Buffalo Bills for sale?

A blog by Matt Phillips on the Wall Street Journal website, wsj.com, identifies high profile bond-fund manager Jeffrey Gundlach as being in the early stages of attempting to acquire the team.

The web story goes on to identify Gundlach as being brought up in Buffalo, who founding DoubleLine Capital in Los Angeles.

Phillips quoted Gundlach, "It's not an investment...it's because I love the Bills."

Eyewitness News reached out to Mr. Gundlach's office today in Los Angeles, and was the only Buffalo television station to connect with him for comment.

Scott Berchtold, spokesman for the team told Eyewitness News, "Ralph Wilson has commented publicly many times that he has no interest of selling the team. Beyond that, our team does not offer a comment for this topic."
