It was a first look at their new city and new home for many of the newest members of the Buffalo Bills, as they took their rookie tour of Buffalo.
Players piled off of the Bills tour bus for the day, starting the sightseeing off at the Naval Park downtown, where rookies toured the U.S.S. Little Rock. It was a break from football, and for some, the first time the rookies have been outside of the training facilities of Ralph Wilson Stadium.
The team then jumped over to the New Era Flagship Store, where the rookies did a little shopping and signed a few autographs along the way.
It was then time for the highlight of the trip for many of the new players, a visit to the Buffalo Zoo to see another new addition to the region.
Luna the polar bear welcomed the first years to the area, and the Bills came bearing gifts. Luna received her very own jersey and a check for ten thousand dollars to help fund the new polar bear exhibit at the zoo.
The rookie tour then continued to Niagara Falls. The Bills have off for the holiday weekend before returning to OTAs on Tuesday.
