In the wake of last weekend's $336 million Powerball jackpot, could bigger lottery prizes be on the horizon? According to a USA Today story, some lottery officials say the answer is yes.
According to USA Today, the Powerball jackpot would have exceeded $415 million had a winner not been drawn on Saturday night.
And Multi-State Lottery Association director Chuck Strutt says a $1 billion jackpot is predicted to happen once every 10 years under the current Powerball structure, according to the USA Today story.
