BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) A former Buffalo Sabre was back in front of a judge Friday for an incident involving his estranged wife and another individual.
Lawyers for Barnaby told a domestic violence court judge they are in discussions with the District Attorney to try and resolve the case.
Barnaby is facing charges accusing him of threatening his estranged wife's friend, and of trying to kick the door down of his wife's home in Getzville.
Barnaby was arrested in May following the incident, and pled not guilty to the charges levied against him.
Barnaby later issued a statement through a spokesperson calling the ordeal, quote "a disagreement" between the parties over a private family matter.
The judge in the case also issued two new orders of protection requiring Barnaby to stay away from his wife and her friend.
He is expected back in court July 8th.
